A BEAUTIFUL NEW CAMPUS

The LFIR moved to its current location in 2020, with the preschool / primary school and the middle / high school settling into two adjacent campuses in Ou Yin Street (Windermere Gardens), a quiet street off Inya Road.

This is a beautiful, secure and peaceful setting, with child-friendly playgrounds offering many playing opportunities for children to make wonderful memories.

FACILITIES

The new LFIR campus provides excellent facilities for education, sports, arts, reading,… and playing!

Regular physical activity being an integral part of the curriculum, the needs of younger and older children are accommodated – with a padded motricity room, a covered sports court and a full-size football field used for training and competitions.

For their much-loved swimming classes, the children are taken in small groups to nearby Sakura residence, where experienced instructors provide a safe and fun environment.

All classrooms are spacious and well-equipped, with digital devices available for the students to use at the discretion of their teachers, and a flexible design that allows for both individual and collaborative work.

Arts classes and school projects are made all the more enjoyable thanks to a large variety of arts supplies and theatre costumes, while performing arts shows are proudly presented to parents in the school auditorium.

A beautiful library offers many hours of reading pleasure for all ages. The students can browse and borrow any book that sparks their interest, or play board games together.

As play is essential for young children’s development and well-being, the preschool classrooms offer age-appropriate educational games and toys, and unstructured play time is scheduled every day. Two spacious, well-equipped playgrounds provide the setting for many hours of fun : there are slides and rides, a beautiful bamboo structure with swings and various climbing frames, as well as a sports court.
